As of July 1, 2018 applications and fees are now available to complete ONLINE and is the preferred method of submission.  Prior to starting the online application process, you must have your cards/documents copied electronically and ready to be uploaded.

Quick hints to a successful Online Application Submission: Read application checklist first, answer all questions, have cards & documents ready for uploading, = SUCCESS!

The Yolo County EMS Agency certifies and renews EMT-1 in accordance with Division 2.5 of the Health and Safety Code of Regulations Title 22.  EMT certification is recognized statewide.  See information below on how to become a California certified EMT through Yolo County.

Reminder: In order to maintain YEMSA certification/accreditation you must keep your certifications current and submit for renewal prior to expiration.
