During the 2020 camping season (June 25-October 5) The Cache Creek Regional Park Campground (aka Cache Creek Middle Site) will be implementing a modified operations plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to comply with State guidelines. The two flushing restrooms, shower ($5/five minutes), dish washing station, dump station, large turf area, and beach access (no large gatherings, must socially distance) will remain open for registered campers. The four group sites, playground, and day use parking area will be closed for the season. Nearby hiking is available at the Cache Creek Lower Site, approximately ¾-mile south of the campground (day-use parking fee required).

A park host resides on site to assist campers with check-in/check-out and with day use visitors, as needed. Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 7:00am. Campers must be 18 years of age to camp alone. Children must be accompanied by an adult. RV hook-ups are not available, but a dump station is provided.

Dogs are allowed at the campground, but must remain on leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. The fee for each dog is $5/night and shall be paid to the park host at check-in. No dogs allowed on beach.

Most cellular phones do not work at the campground, and there is no public phone, internet, or electrical outlets. It is recommended that campers bring plenty of water for their camping duration, as campsites do not have water spigots. Potable water is available at the central dishwashing station and flushing restrooms. Yellow jackets are common in the Cache Creek Canyon area and may be present at the campground, especially during late summer and early fall when their populations peak. Traps alone cannot fully protect against yellow jackets, so please use precaution when preparing and eating food, as they are attracted to food and beverages.

Temperatures at the campground can be over 100 degrees in the summer during the day, and below 50 degrees in the evening. In early spring and late fall, temperatures can drop to near or below freezing. Please plan accordingly and check weather updates.

Please maintain adequate social distance (minimum 6 feet) from members outside of your own household. Face coverings must be worn, per Yolo County Mandatory Face Covering Order, in the event six-foot social distance cannot be maintained. It is recommended that face coverings be worn in restrooms or other indoor areas. To ensure physical distancing can be maintained, visitors should set up their campsite to maximize distance from adjacent campsites that host people from different households.

We will be accelerating our restroom cleaning schedule and will disinfect high touch surfaces to the extent possible, but due to limited staffing, we request that all campers prepare to be as self-contained and self-sufficient as possible. Please bring your own soap, surface disinfectant supplies, hand sanitizer, paper towels/hand towels, and toilet paper. Also consider bringing tablecloths for use on picnic tables at your campsite. Please pack out what you pack in, wherever possible.

  • Individual campsites 1-45 for all visitors: $35.00 per night (no refunds)
  • Individual campsites 30-45 will only accommodate RVs up to 26 feet in length
  • Dogs at campground: $5.00 per dog, and each dog must be licensed - owner must provide proof of license
