DFS Office Closure Update - COVID-19 Pandemic (3/18/20):

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Yolo County Public Health Official and Yolo County Board of Supervisors, we are closing the Department of Financial Services offices to the public for the period of March 19, 2020 to May 1, 2020 providing only essential services.  The office will be open for Cannabis tax payments only Friday of each week by appointment. We will be open for normal operating hours starting May 4, 2020.  We will be answering voice messages and emails to taxinfo@yolocounty.org received during office closures.

The County of Yolo Department of Financial Services understands the importance of supporting business to succeed. We are mindful that reviewing, understanding, and reporting all required documents for the cannabis taxation can be overwhelming. The Revenues Division within the Department of Financial Services will guide you through the cannabis taxation process. Our goal is to provide information that is easily accessible, which will not only assist you in understanding your tax obligations but help you avoid simple filing mistakes.  Please see the below documents to help you through this process.
