In accordance with the County Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual – Policy on Accountability and Audit and under professional auditing standards, the Yolo County Division of Internal Audit is requesting that all county departments, special districts, joint powers agencies and other entities provide the division, on behalf of the county, a copy of their finalized audit or review report and management letter resulting from an engagement performed on the department or affiliates or programs of the department, special district, and joint powers agency that has not been previously submitted to the division.  

Government Code Section 26909 requires districts file their audited financial statements with the county auditor within 12 months of the end of the fiscal year or years under examination.
