The Cache Creek Area Plan (CCAP) guides decision-making for the mining of off-channel aggregate resources and restoration and management of in-channel conditions along Lower Cache Creek. The plan mandates the monitoring, collection and analysis of many different data for purposes of adapting the program to reflect the best understanding of conditions and trends over time, and to ensure that program goals and outcomes are successfully attained.
The website provides real-time access to the primary data used by the Cache Creek Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), the County, mining companies, and other stakeholders to make decisions required to implement the CCAP. Access to the data is organized in the form of a data "dashboard" that displays key information over time related to water resources, geomorphology, and vegetation and wildlife. New data will be added to this site as it is collected.
The site was created and is maintained by the TAC Gemorphologist under contract to the County. Please submit any feedback on the dashboard to the County's Natural Resources Program Assistant.
