Yolo County Elections Will Start Mailing Vote by Mail Ballots Later This Week
Woodland, CA –The Yolo County Elections office will start mailing Vote by Mail ballots later this week. Yolo County residents who have not received their ballot by the week of October 22nd, please contact the Yolo County Election Office. Vote by Mail voters will have until the end of Election Day on November 6th to cast their ballot. Registered voters wishing to Vote by Mail in the November 6th General Election have until October 30th to request a Vote by Mail ballot. Applications to Vote by Mail can be found on the back page of your sample ballot or in person at the Yolo County Elections Office.
The General Election ballot is one page and will require one stamp to be mailed. Voters can also drop off their completed ballots at Library Ballot drop off boxes available at the Woodland Public Library, the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento, the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, Winters Community Library, and Esparto Regional Library. Library Ballot boxes will be available beginning Friday October 19th until Monday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. during each library’s normal business hours.
