Roadway Striping Project Lane Closures
(Woodland, CA) – Due to road construction associated with the Roadway Striping Project, various roads throughout Yolo County will be under lane closure beginning October 1 through approximately mid-December.
Over the next three months, the Roadway Striping Project will provide roadway safety striping for approximately 130 miles of roads in Yolo County. The project is made possible by a federal grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Projects program. Current striping will be replaced with highly reflective thermoplastic striping that should retain its reflectivity for at least five years. Construction costs total $2.4 million which was the low bid received from contractor Chrisp Co., Inc. from Woodland, California.
