Storytelling Workshop with Sacramento Women Achieving Greatness at the Davis Branch Library

(Woodland, CA) – Adults are invited to join the Yolo County Library and Sacramento Women Achieving Greatness (SWAG) for a workshop in developing their personal narrative on Wednesday, July 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Blanchard Room of the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, located at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Participants will explore how their values can be shaped into a personal narrative that can move the community. They will learn to craft personal experiences into a story they can use to inspire others to stand up, take action, or express their voices. Participants will have the opportunity to share their stories with the group, if they wish. Light refreshments will be served.

SWAG is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference one voice at a time through professional development, philanthropy, and influencing public policy for women’s rights.

Space is limited and reservations must be made through Eventbrite: All programs are free to attend. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Davis Public Library. The Mary L.
