Cannabis for Seniors: A Presentation at the Davis Branch Library, June 14
(Woodland, CA) – Older adults are invited to join the Yolo County Library for a presentation about how to use cannabis to treat conditions and diseases common to seniors on Thursday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, located at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis.
The presentation will be given by Tim Schimmel, owner of Kind Farms LLC and board member of the Yolo County Cannabis Coalition. Topics will include using cannabis to treat acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), anorexia, arthritis, cachexia, cancer, chronic pain, glaucoma, migraine, severe nausea, persistent muscle spasms, and seizures. Following the presentation, Schimmel will answer participants’ questions.
This event replaces the first hour of the regularly scheduled Active Older Adult Wisdom Circle. All are welcome to stay when this program resumes from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
No reservations are required and all programs are free to attend. The Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library is accessible for persons with disabilities.
