El Macero Road Rehabilitation Project Begins April 26 with Closures Expected Through June 28
(Woodland, CA) – Streets in the El Macero subdivision are being rehabilitated which will result in lane closures from April 26 until June 28, as well as temporary road closures for up to eight hours.
This project will rehabilitate the existing road surface including base repair, curb and gutter repair, and will apply fiberized micro surfacing.
Traffic control will direct motorists through the construction. Detailed notices to residents and businesses will be provided for the areas requiring temporary closures during the placement of the micro surfacing.
Construction costs are approximately $916,000 and will be funded from the El Macero County Service Area’s streets fund. The low bid contractor is Valley Slurry Seal, Inc., from West Sacramento, California.
