Free, Reusable Face Coverings for Local Businesses and Organizations

(Woodland, CA) – Local businesses and organizations, including schools, colleges, nonprofits, churches, restaurants and others, can receive free, reusable face coverings in Yolo County as part of the State of California’s efforts to provide and distribute COVID-19 resources statewide.

To help businesses and organizations who may be experiencing financial distress or do not have enough face coverings for staff, volunteers, or employees, free face coverings can be requested while supplies last by completing an online survey:

Once a request has been approved, recipients will be notified by email with instructions; pick up days are only Tuesdays or Thursdays.

The best way for residents to protect themselves from contracting COVID-19 includes wearing a face covering, following social distancing, practicing healthy hygiene habits, such as washing hands with soap and water and covering coughs, and limiting gatherings, including BBQs, get togethers, graduation celebrations, birthday parties and others.

Face coverings have been mandatory in Yolo County since April 24th with the issuance of the local health order and is in effect until further notice. The State of California has also announced on June 18th mandatory face coverings statewide.
