Classic Car and Truck Show Returns August 24 to Yolo

(Woodland, CA) – Join the Yolo County Library and the Friends of the Yolo Branch Library at the fourth annual Cruisin’ into the Next Chapter Classic Car and Truck Show on August 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., held near the Yolo Branch Library, located at 37750 Sacramento Street in Yolo, a short five-minute drive north of Woodland. 

Everyone is welcome to attend this free family-friendly event, which will feature a wide array of classic cars and trucks, lowrider bikes and pedal cars, as well as antique fire trucks, tractors, and gas engines.  Enjoy a variety of delicious food while listening to music performed by the Penny Ante Band and live DJ sets provided by Rockwell Sound & Lighting.  There will be free face painting and craft activities at the library, free books for children, tours of the historic Yolo Blacksmith Shop, and information on recycling car oil, filters, and batteries.  Attendees will also be able to enter a donation drawing to win a variety of prizes as well as browse vendors or purchase souvenir T-shirts, YOLO key chains, magnets, and hats.

This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Yolo Branch Library and the Yolo County Library. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Yolo Branch Library, which serves the communities of Yolo, Zamora, Dunnigan, and the surrounding areas.

Support for this event is generously provided by the Yolo Fire Protection District, Yolo Blacksmith, Yolo Market, Cache Creek High School, MasterTech Japanese Auto Specialists, VC Upholstery, George and Felipe Anaya, and dozens of other local businesses and residents.
