Yolo County 2019 Assessment Roll Closes with a 5.50% Increase
Yolo County Clerk/Recorder/Assessor and Registrar of Voters Jesse Salinas has announced that the annual Assessment Roll closed on June 27th, 2019 and reflects a 5.50% increase, resulting in the seventh consecutive year of growth. Confidence in the Yolo County real estate market led to a continued rise in housing development and resulted in further expansion in the commercial real estate sector. The 2019 Assessment Roll has a current value of $28.70 billion, up from the 2018 value of $27.21 billion; an increase of more than $1.49 billion.
The cities of Winters and Woodland experienced the largest increases in Yolo County in 2019 at 8.20% and 7.08% respectively. The city of Winters saw the largest Yolo County increase for the third consecutive year. The city of Davis increased by 5.35%, the city of West Sacramento by 5.16% and unincorporated areas of Yolo County grew by 4.00%. “The 2019 Yolo County Assessment Roll demonstrates the continued strength of the Yolo County real estate market as every area within Yolo County recorded an increase.
