June Programs at the Esparto Regional Library

(Woodland, CA) – Come for family friendly programs held during the month of June at Yolo County’s Esparto Regional Library, located at 17065 Yolo Avenue in Esparto:

  • June is Pride Month! Let’s recognize, celebrate, and support the LGBTQIA+ community, history, and culture. This year’s Pride Month commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York as well as the history of gay rights and related civil rights movements. Check out our book display, bibliography, bookmarks, and buttons!

  • Summer Reading Program 2019: It’s Showtime at Your Library! Sign up and get a free book! Choose your summer challenge: read 10 books, read for 10 hours, or read on 10 different days. There will be activities, events, and prizes all summer long with a final Grand Prize drawing. Program runs through August 31.

  • Read Off Your Fines for Adults! Adults who complete the Summer Reading Program may choose to have up to $10.00 in late fees waived from their library account as their prize. Program runs through August 31.

  • June 11: Free Computer Class, 10:30 a.m. Basic computer class covering simple tech support, beginner terminology, library computer resources, and a Q & A session. Registration is required and will be limited to the first ten signups. To register, call (530) 787-3426 or sign up at the library service desk. This class will be offered on the second Tuesday of each month.

  • June 13: Catch-A-Beat, 2:00 p.m. Enjoy stories about music, dance and world cultures as told through movement in a fabulous program by performer Tina Rogers!

The following ongoing programs continue in June:
