Input on Yolo County’s Workforce Development Plan Due March 31
(Woodland, CA) – The Capital Region’s workforce development boards are soliciting public input on modifications to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act regional and local plans. These plans were drafted with public input and identify strategies to achieve state goals related to workforce development. Yolo County’s Workforce Innovation Board Local Plan, and the regional plan it is a part of, can be found at: www.YoloWorks.org (select Workforce Innovation Board link at bottom of the page).
Yolo County’s Workforce Innovation Board Local Plan was approved by the Board of Supervisors in 2017 and is required to be updated on a biennial basis, as is the regional plan. These updates are intended to ensure that plans remain current and account for any changes in labor market and economic conditions, or in factors affecting plan implementation.
Those wishing to submit written input regarding the Capital Region plan may e-mail: Heather.Luke@seta.net. Input regarding the Yolo County plan may be submitted by March 31, 2019 via e-mail to: yoloWIB@yolocounty.org or by phone at (530) 406-4458.
