Digital Story Screening & Reception at the Davis Branch Library
(Woodland, CA) – All are invited to join the Yolo County Library and participating artists on Saturday, February 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Blanchard Room of the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, located at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis, for a digital story screening and artists’ reception.
Join the artists as we screen the emotional, vibrant, and illuminating digital stories they created in our Yolo Branch Library workshop this past summer. Yolo County Library was one of 14 libraries in California selected for this prestigious project, which enables local residents to create two to four-minute video stories about an aspect of their lives.
The workshop and special screening are in partnership with the Yolo County Library, Berkeley StoryCenter, California Listens, and Califa. The stories will exist as a collection for the State Library and for participating libraries.
No reservations are required and the program is free to attend. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Davis Public Library. The Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library is accessible for persons with disabilities. For more information regarding this event, contact Sue Billing at (530) 662-2363 or Sue.Billing@yolocounty.org.
