  • Introduction: Interested in learning how to enrich the soil in your garden by increasing its fertility? The Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency is hosting a free soil fertility gardening class!

In this hands-on class, participants will learn how cover-cropping and backyard composting, including the use of worms, can add organic matter in their garden with the goal of creating nutrient-rich soil to help fruits and vegetables grow well. This is a great opportunity for garden enthusiasts to discover various compost system designs and have questions answered.
