Free Gardening Class: Plant Propagation for the Backyard Gardener

Interested in learning how to propagate edible plants as a way to increase food production in your garden? The Hanna and Herbert Bauer Memorial Garden is hosting a free plant propagation gardening class on Wednesday, May 29, from 5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. taught by a UC Master Gardener of Yolo County. In this hands-on class, participants will practice starting vegetable seeds in mini greenhouses they will create and take home from the class (all materials will be provided). This is a great opportunity for garden enthusiasts to gain an understanding and appreciation for increasing food production that is efficient and cost-effective for them and their families. No experience is necessary and all are welcome to attend. See flyer for details and spread the word to family and friends.
