Applications Open for 2nd Round of ARP Food Security Funding

On September 28, 2021, the Yolo County Board of Supervisors approved the initial American Rescue Plan Expenditure Plan, including $3,000,000 for projects under the Food Security priority category. With the first round complete, Yolo County seeks additional proposals from the community for food security, nutrition expansion, or food system enhancements. The total pool of funding for this round is $1,200,000. Beginning today, the County will accept applications for projects serving any one or more of three priority populations: Senior Food Security, Children’s Food Security & Agricultural Worker Food Security.
