NOTE: Juvenile Cases - In reading the Welfare and Institutions Code, which discusses the confidentiality of juvenile records and the Legislature's belief that confidentiality in these cases is necessary to further the rehabilitative efforts in the juvenile justice system, we believe that, absent statutory exceptions, we are precluded from providing any information or documents in juvenile matters.

Marsh, Daniel  13H02418 Defendant was convicted of murdering an elderly Davis couple while they slept.  Marsh was tried as an adult due to the heinous nature of his crimes. He was convicted of  two counts of murder with special circumstance that include use of a deadly weapon, multiple murders, lying in wait, and torture.  He was sentenced to 52 years to life in prison, however, due to Prop. 57, his conviction was conditionally reversed.  He will be sent back to juvenile court for a transfer hearing where a judge will determine his suitability for juvenile court. If the judge determines that he is suitable for juvenile court, he could only be detained until he reaches the age of 25.  A Court date has not been set yet in Yolo County Superior Court because the Appellate Court has not made a final decision yet as a result of the appellate attorney for the defendant filing a petition for review to the California Supreme Court for a different legal issue.

 18H03504 Defendant's charged with murder, accessory to a felony, kidnapping and enhancements for use of a deadly weapon, committing multiple murders, and committing a murder during the commission of a kidnapping after the disappearance of two Yolo County teenagers.





Defendant David Froste will be returned from CA Dept. of Corrections on June 21, 2018. 


Arraignment continued to June 22, 2018, so that Froste, Froste and Shannon can be arraigned together.  The Court scheduled a Detention Hearing for juvenile Defendant, Jesus Campos (now 18), on June 21, 2018, at 1:30 in D-6.

Bessolo-Marsh, Jeremiah  18F02860 Defendant charged with crimes including Human Trafficking of a Minor; Unlawful Sex with a Minor, Dissuading a Witness, and Violation of a Court Order.





Defendant arraigned, pled not guilty.  PX set for 6/25/18.
Carter, Markeese
17H07258  Defendant charged with murder, sexual act with child 10 years old or younger, as well as assault on a peace officer.






Review continued to 7/2/18 to allow time for doctor to complete report regarding defendant's competency.

Defendant charged with murder in the death of her brother as a result of stabbing him with a knife.
