Leae, Thomas 15H07042 Defendant was charged with murder after his passenger sustained fatal injuries in a crash that followed a high speed pursuit.

No Further Court Dates

Motion for new trial denied. Defendant sentenced to 15-years-to-life in state prison on Count 1 (murder) and to 10 Years and 8 Months in state prison on Count 2 (evading a peace officer causing injury or death) and Count 3 (vehicle theft).

On October 6, 2017 a Yolo County Jury found 23-year-old Thomas Phillip Leae of Renton, Washington guilty of Second Degree Murder, Evading the Police Causing Death and Vehicle Theft. The Press Release can be viewed here: Washington Man Found Guilty of Second Degree Murder

Lemus is in State Prison after being convicted by a jury of voluntary manslaughter for stabbing a man in Woodland.  The Court sentenced him to seven years in state prison.  The CA Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation has filed a request with the court requesting Lemus’ release from prison under the Compassionate Release Program stating that the inmate is terminally ill with an incurable condition that will produce death within six months.
