How long until I can get some medication?
An initial prescription requires you to be seen by a physician, this could possibly take up to 15 days. However, an appointment may be available sooner based on individual needs as determined by our triage staff.
How long until I can see a doctor?
The waiting period to see a doctor may take up to 15 days; however, an appointment could be available sooner depending on individual needs.

Funded by the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), the Older Adult Outreach and Assessment Programs provide Full Service Partnership (FSP), System Development (general), and Outreach and Engagement services to un-served and under-served individuals aged 60+ who have serious mental illnesses. MHSA also coordinates with the Senior Peer Counselor Volunteer Program to assist older clients in maintaining independence in the community.
Service triage appointments are offered at the Woodland or West Sacramento office and the LOCUS Tool is used to determine level of care needs. Eligible consumers may be assigned to a variety of services, including Older Adult Outreach and Assessment Programs, following completion of a more in depth clinical assessment to review needs and determine medical necessity.
To schedule a triage appointment, consumers may call the toll free ACCESS line at (888)965-6647 or walk into the clinic nearest to them. Consumers are asked to bring proof of residency, Medi-Cal card, and/or proof of income for sliding scale fees.
