PubMed
PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.

American Heritage Dictionary
4th edition available online offers definition, etymology, word history, other forms and even the possibility of listening to the pronunciation of the word. The search box for the dictionary is the one in the middle of the page not the one at the top.

Online dictionary about the Internet. It contains hundreds of words and definitions that describe the technology and community world of the Web.

Thomas Register of American Manufacturers
Offers a complimentary, but selective, access to suppliers of products or services listed in their printed version. You are asked to register at time of searching. The suppliers list provides names, addresses and phone numbers.

Wikipedia
Contains more than 1,300,000 articles that can be access via an A-Z index, by keyword, through subject portals or randomly.
