Access to Information for People with Disabilities
National Disability Voter Week in July was an opportunity for the library to work with our community and provide information about voter registration for people with disabilities and the disability community. Register to vote and take a look at the national campaign!

For Californians unable to read standard print, please go to http://pd.library.ca.gov to find your local braille and talking book library and sign up for free library service.
Adult and Family Literacy - Yolo Reads
Yolo Reads provides free tutoring to adults who want to improve their reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills. Learners receive one-on-one support from volunteer tutors and free materials.
Books by MailBooks by Mail is a FREE service from the Yolo County Library that brings library materials to you through the mail on a long-term or short-term basis if you have difficulty visiting the library. For more information please click here.
Career Online High SchoolThe Yolo County Library's Career Online High School (COHS) offers adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online.
Discover & GoDiscover & Go provides library cardholders with free or discounted passes to local museum and cultural institutions.
Browse our collection of downloadable eBooks, eAudiobooks, videos, music, magazines, and browse for information about jobs, health, and law resources. These materials can be enjoyed on your computer or selected portable devices. For more information click here.
The InterLibrary Loan program allows you to request a book from another library system outside of Yolo County if we do not own a copy.
The LINK+ program allows you to request a book or A/V item from another library system outside of Yolo County. The item will come to your selected branch in about a week.
Currently our Davis, Esparto, and West Sacramento locations have community meeting rooms that are available for public use by non-profit groups. For more information, click here.

Wireless Access at Yolo County Library Branches
All branches of the Yolo County Library provide wireless access to the Internet. The WiFi network is unfiltered in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy of the Yolo County Library. These wireless networks can be accessed using PCs with various Microsoft operating systems such as XP, Vista or Windows 7. For more information about wifi and wireless printing click here.
Yolo County Archives
The Yolo County Archives is a permanent collection of material pertaining to the history of Yolo County from approximately 1850 to the present. The collection consists of records from various Yolo County agencies/departments as well as those from private individuals and businesses. It is available for research on the premises. It includes a variety of media, including maps, blueprints, photographs, bound volumes, manuscripts and oral history tapes. For more information, click here.
