The Yolo Training Academy (YTA) is provided for county employees and for non-profit agencies within the county. Our desire is to provide timely and relevant training to all levels of the organization, using internal subject matter experts and leaders. Non-profit agencies wishing to send employees to courses offered through the Yolo Training Academy are asked to contribute to this free training resource by offering subject matter experts to develop training curriculum and serve as facilitators for new or existing courses.
Click here to view the current YTA course catalog. Signing up for the training from within Yolo County is simple, using the online training registration system, however from outside the county's intranet, sign ups are done by phone or by faxing, emailing, or mailing a registration form. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for outside registration requests.
Additionally, the YTA offers sexual harassment prevention training, compliant with AB 1825 through New Media Learning. http://training.newmedialearning.com/psh/yoloco/choice.htm For non-county members, use the Guest option. The Yolo County Training Manager will receive automatic notification of completion and a certificate will be issued to the trainee, online for printing.
Also, online ethics training can be found through the Fair Political Practices Commission, compliant with AB 1234. http://localethics.fppc.ca.gov/login.aspx.
