I am honored to serve Yolo County as Chair of the Board of Supervisors. Founded in 1850, Yolo County has a uniquely rich legacy as one of the original California counties. Every day I encounter new treasures in our agricultural heritage, commitment to open space, dedicated volunteer efforts, artistic endeavours, and creative collaborations among our local governments.
I am committed to building on this legacy and to supporting an even brighter future for Yolo consistent with our identity and character. We are at a crossroads on many fronts. Together we must address job creation and prosperity for all of our residents, sustaining a safety net for our most vulnerable residents and protecting our environment, open space and agriculture industry.
Local governments can no longer operate in isolatation from one another. We must pool our resources regionally and with nongovernmental partners to meet the needs and expectations of our people.
I hope that the links on this web page are helpful to you and that you take a few minutes to get to know us in the District 2 office.
We value our relationships with you and treasure our shared commitment to Yolo County. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to assist you.
