CSAC Advocacy Spotlight: Homelessness
Tackling the issue of homelessness is of great concern to me. As co-chair of the CSAC/League Joint Homelessness Task Force, I am part of a group of individuals that are working to find solutions to this ever-growing problem. Our mission is to identify, develop, and provide education, resources, and policy that cities and counties need to prevent, assist, and reduce the number of homeless individuals and families in our community. Purpose: The Davis Cemetery District is an non-enterprise independent Special District governed by an appointed Board of Trustees who serve four-year terms. As a public agency, the District is not in the business to make a profit as a private company. Public meetings are held every third Wednesday at 4:00 pm that cemetery office.
AT-LARGE/SPECIFIC CATEGORY VACANCIES:

California El Niño/Winter Outlook and Flood Preparedness
The Governor's Office of Emergency Services is preparing for the threat of El Niño by convening meetings with various state agencies to ensure coordination measures are in place. For the public, a new website has been established to keep current on the status of the emergency threats. You can access this information at the following: www.storms.ca.gov
