The Yolo County Health Department provides public health services, including environmental health services to all county residents, and indigent and correctional medical care to eligible persons.
Yolo County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health provides a full range of alcohol, drug, and mental health services, from prevention through assessment and hospitalization, primarily for indigent and Medi-Cal consumers. Services are provided directly by Yolo County employees or by contract through community based organizations.
Department of Employment & Social Services Building
The Yolo County Department of Employment and Social Services provides income support, food stamps and other aid to eligible low-income individuals and families; employment and training services to increase workforce participation and decrease dependency; and protective and supportive services for both children and vulnerable adults.
