All Businesses Are Required To Be Licensed
"Business" means any trade, manufacturer, profession, occupation or service of all and every kind, whether or not carried on for profit or for charitable, philanthropic, or other purposes, including the arrangement of business transactions, holding of sales or training meetings and administrative conferences, the receipt of customer or client payments and the keeping of records and accounts pertaining to a business.

New Business License (Fees, Inspection and Forms)
In general, a Business License not requiring an Fire Life Safety inspection or subject to other departments fees is $127.20 (includes a technology fee of 6 %, which is $7.20) and expires the next year on January 31st.
For Businesses located in the Unincorporated Areas of Yolo County applying for a new business license or change of ownership or change in occupancy use will be required to pay additional fees of $120.00 and $56.10 for a Fire Life Safety Inspection and a Environmental Health fee.
