The mission of the Yolo County Administrator's Office is to provide leadership in the implementation of the policies of the Board of Supervisors to enhance the quality of life for the community. This office provides analytical support and policy analysis, conducts investigations, prepares reports as requested by the Board of Supervisors and conducts independent management studies. Divisions of this department include Clerk to the Board of Supervisors, Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), Economic Development, Intergovernmental and Tribal Affairs, and Public Information.

Goals and Objectives of the County Administrative Office

  • Provide leadership and managerial direction to facilitate the development of an organization-wide consensus of purpose and cohesiveness
  • Ensure that Yolo County exercises fiscal prudence and responsibility
  • Strive to provide efficient and effective services to the public
