2008 Teen Substance Abuse Summit
The Yolo County Health Council conducted a county-wide community based Teen Substance Abuse Summit on September 19 and 20, 2008 at Harper Junior High School in Davis. At this summit, key stakeholders including educators, policy makers, criminal justice, health professionals, and community leaders came together to develop action plans with measurable goals to reduce substance abuse among teens in Yolo County.
The Summit included a series of presentations on key topics alternating with group work focused on specific themes or components of the problem. In addition, participants received a binder of resource materials. These resource materials are posted below by section, as well as the final report.
